Feverfew 125mg

Feverfew has been used since the Middle Ages as a natural remedy for fever, arthritis and migraine. It has similar pain-numbing properties as an aspirin, but unlike aspirin, feverfew does not cause gastric irritation and has a longer duration of effect.

Feverfew is rich in a lactone known as parthenolide. When a migraine occurs it is thought to be due to the abnormalty of platelet behaviour which causes a blockage of small blood cells. Parthenolide inhibits platelet aggregation and will reduce the number of migraine attacks and the severity of attacks.
